There exists a frequent oiling issue with the pre-1992 R32 RB26 motors, as being the surface area wherever the crankshaft meets the oil pump was machined far too tiny, eventually resulting in oil pump failure at significant rpm. This problem was solved in later variations from the RB26 using a broader oil pump drive, which can be located in all R33
